I am an UX researcher and PhD student currently residing in Oxford, UK. At the Oxford Internet Institute I’m studying how video games reconfigure the ways we think, know, and make meaning in our lives. I’m also chair of the Oxford Games & Technologies group.

I previously researched digital trust as the UX researcher for Adobe’s Content Authenticity Initiative, consulted as a UX researcher for Gemic, worked as the first User Researcher at Aiimi, and helped facilitate UX research at Plot Twisters (an ed-tech studio). I have my MSc in Social Science of the Internet from Oxford. At USC’s Iovine Young Academy, I received a BS in Arts, Technology, and the Business of Innovation with emphases in interactive media and visual and cultural communication. I also completed a minor in East Asian Languages and Cultures, specializing in Japan.

In my spare time, I like to take pictures of wildflowers, build my own keyboards, and make (and review) iced matcha lattes. Right now, I am running a study on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, teaching visiting students at the University of Oxford, and consulting on UX research projects.

I’m also on a quest to convert more people to using Notion as part of their digital toolkit. I have my Notions Essentials badge and currently offer Notion workspace building as part of my consulting.
